KR Jones of UNDNYC has over 10 years of experience in professional personal training. He trained professionally at Equinox in New York City for 4+ years and has instructed numerous credited certification courses on person training for other industry professionals as well. Holding a Bachelors in Health Sciences with a focus on Strength & Conditioning, KR has both educational and hands-on experience, making him an expert in his field. His focus when working with clients is on improving their quality of life, as well as injury prevention and recovery. KR is also a seasoned yoga practitioner and instructor, beginning his personal practice in 2012 and becoming certified in 2019. He has since taught yoga weekly from 2020-present.

Personal Training

  • 1-on-1 Personal Training allows you to get personalized workouts that cater to your individual lifestyles and goals

  • Sessions begin with an assessment that allows KR to learn about your history, lifestyle, and goals. This intake will allow him to chart you on a path towards your goals in a realistic manner, incrementally staged so that results are attainable

  • Following the assessment, KR will create workout plans for you on a weekly and monthly trajectory, coaching you to keep you consistent and take the guessing out of your workout routine while holding you accountable

  • Personal training sessions are for individuals at any level, form beginners who are just starting out to those who are looking to refresh or take a new approach to their bodywork

Strength & Stretch sessions

  • Whether you are looking to increase your mobility, get stronger, or simply learn more about how your body works, Strength & Stretch sessions are a foundational tool in working better with your body

  • Sessions can be catered towards injury prevention through assessing and correcting muscle imbalances, or towards injury recovery through pain relief and reactivating the body’s full range of motion

  • Sessions begin with customized strengthening exercises based on your individual needs and end with hands-on stretching that provides unique tension relief that is difficult to achieve on your own

  • All tools and accessories for aiding in stretching will be provided

private yoga sesssions

  • Private yoga sessions are great for beginners who want to build an individual practice on their own before going into group sessions, or for experienced yogis who want to be challenged into a deeper practice with detailed hands-on adjustments and feedback

  • KR’s approach is one of restorative activation, going through each part of the body to address both large and small muscle groups, starting from the ground up

The above services can be performed at an on-site gym in KR’s building in Bed Stuy, or at the client’s personal gym or home, depending on the session’s requirements.
