On March 30th, 2020 I posted a photo on Instagram with the caption, “Fear is a privilege afforded to the rich, I ain’t rich. I’m wealthy”. In that moment when there was so much uncertainty in the world, I embodied the strength of my ancestors, the strength of all my friends that had passed on prematurely, and an ignition of purpose ensued. I was rich in experience, confidence, and most importantly action. Two weeks later I was out biking in the empty streets of New York, dreaming of what I wanted to do next.
